Fire safety is the cornerstone of building a prosperous community. As our society continues to progress, fire safety is of paramount importance. As the Chairman of the Wong Tai Sin District Fire Safety Committee, I feel an honorable mission and a great sense of responsibility. Our goal is to deeply root fire safety knowledge in the hearts of every resident, foster a cooperative atmosphere and create a harmonious community to live and work in peace.  

Over the past year, we have continuously raised the awareness of fire safety among the community through a diverse range of fire safety education activities, seminars, and fire drills. These activities not only enhance residents' fire safety awareness and emergency response but, more importantly, enable everyone to stay calm, make correct judgments, and respond quickly to carry out self-rescue and save others in a calamity. We are delighted to see that the community network is becoming well-established and fire safety knowledge is effectively shared among neighbors, forming a strong community safety net.  

Fire prevention relies on the close cooperation of all parties in the community. Our committee has been actively collaborating with local schools, owners' corporations, property management companies, and different organizations in the district to provide professional fire safety advice and emergency response knowledge education. These partnerships not only effectively reduce fire risks but also strengthen community cohesion, truly reflecting the supportive and cooperative virtues of Wong Tai Sin District residents.  

Looking ahead to 2026, we will continue to expand our collaborations with government departments, private corporations, NGOs, and other community groups to explore ways to enhance community fire safety. Let us continue to stand side by side and work together to strive to build a safer, more stable, and more vibrant Wong Tai Sin District.
