The Chairman, Vicechairman and members participated in the 'Tsuen Wan District Disaster and Emergency Preparedness Day' organized by the Fire Services Department and the FSD Community Emergency Responder Honorary Presidents' Association (Tsuen Wan District)

The event promoted disaster prevention and emergency preparedness messages to the public through activities such as fire rescue drills, displays of fire and ambulance vehicles, demonstrations by specialised teams and search and rescue dogs, interactive exhibitions and emergency education booth games of various government departments, organizations and schools.

To celebrate the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, students from primary and secondary schools, as well as kindergartens in the district, joined the FSD's Guard of Honour and the FAST Connect's Guard of Honour in a ceremony displaying the national flag and regional flag, and singing the national anthem. The students then performed drama, singing, and ethnic minority dances, adding a lively touch to the National Games.

The opening ceremony also received strong support from Tsuen Wan District Councillors, Fight Crime Committees, Area Committees, Care Team and other local organizations as well as schools, showcasing the patriotism and spirit of unity of the Tsuen Wan District.
