On January 22, the “Divisional Public Safety Team”, in collaboration with the Tsuen Wan District Office, the Tsuen Wan District Fire Safety Committee, and members of the Tak Wah Care Team, conducted a fire safety education initiative and the "Old Friends" Scheme home visit program at an old building on Chung On Street.

During the activity, the team distributed "Disaster Preparedness Emergency Kits" to residents and educated both tenants and building management staff on the mnemonic "Break, Turn, Pull, Aim" for operating fire hose reel systems. The team also visited elderly people living alone and elderly couples to assess their home fire safety conditions, promote fire response strategies, and help mitigate potential fire hazards in their homes.
