On the occasion of the Ching Ming Festival, Fire Services Department organized Ching Ming Festival Hill Fire Prevention Publicity 2025 on 29 March, 30 March and 4 April, 2025.  Ms. YU Judith, Chairperson of the Kwun Tong District Fire Safety Committee, joined by committee members, Divisional Commander (Kowloon East) Mr. CHU Man-chiu of the Fire Services Department, FSD Community Emergency Responder Honorary Presidents’ Association (Kwun Tong District) Mr. CHOW Yiu-ming and fellow association committee, visited the Junk Bay Chinese Permanent Cemetery (Yau Tong Entrance) on the morning of 4 April, 2025.  They distributed fire prevention leaflets to the grave sweepers, reminding the public to maintain fire safety during ancestral worship rituals and refrain from leaving any ignition sources that may cause hill fires.  The team members later extended their campaign to the Lei Yue Mun Arch, conducting fire safety education for the residents to enhance community disaster preparedness.
