On 20 June 2026, members from the Tsing Yi Fire Station went to LINK CENTRE on Kwai Chung Road in Kwai Chung to hold a fire safety event for ethnic minority residents. The programme included a fire safety talk and a fire extinguisher demonstration, explaining key points of home fire prevention and the proper use of fire extinguishers to participants. The member also assisted with the installation of standalone smoke detectors and explained their use and maintenance, in order to enhance fire safety awareness and reduce potential fire risks.
