On 16.7.2026, personnel from the Discovery Bay Fire Station, together with the Distric Fire Safety Commitee (Islands District), successfully carried out a fire safety publicity at Discovery Bay.  During the activity, 8 households of elderly residents living alone or as elderly couples were visited.  The team distributed the "Three Treasures for Fire Protection" (fire extinguisher, fire blanket, and stand-alone fire detectors), assisted with the installation of stand-alone fire detectors, assessed their home fire safety conditions, promoted fire response methods, and helped reduce potential fire hazards in their homes.
