On 14 June 2026, Peng Chau Fire Station, in collaboration with members from Islands District Council, District Fire Safety Committee (Islands District), Peng Chau Rural Committee and the Peng Chau Care Team, conducted a fire safety education activity at Peng Chau. During the activity, the team distributed the "Disaster Preparedness Emergency Kit" and stand-alone fire detectors to residents while educating them on fire safety measures. Attendees were introduced to the mnemonic "Break, Turn, Pull, Aim" for operating the Fire Hydrant Hose Reel System, and "Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep" for operating the Fire Extinguisher.
