The "Islands District Disaster & Emergency Preparedness Promotion Day 2026", which was organized by Islands District Office, and co-organized by the Hong Kong Fire Services Department, District Fire Safety Committee (Islands District) and Fire Services Department Community Emergency Responder Honorary Presidents' Association (Islands District) has been successfully conducted on 29 March 2026 at Tung Chung East Promenade.  The event not only promoted the message of emergency preparedness to the public, but also allow citizens to learn more about the job nature of Fire and Ambulance Services.

The activities of the event includes game booths, Search and Rescue demonstration, Maritime Rescue demonstration, Fire Appliance and Ambulance Exhibition, and Firefighting branch experience, which have attracted over 6000 citizens to participate in the event.
