On March 14, representatives from Tung Chung Fire Station, in collaboration with members from Islands District Council, District Fire Safety Committee (Islands District), Tung Chung Central Sub-district Care Team and Tung Chung Safe and Healthy City Committee, conducted a fire safety publicity event at Caribbean Coast, Tung Chung.
During the activity, members of Tung Chung Fire Station conducted a fire safety talk and demonstrated the method of using a Fire Extinguisher. The team also distributed "Disaster Preparedness Emergency Kits" and stand-alone detectors to residents while educating them on fire safety measures.
In addition, the team conducted home visits to local residents to assess their home fire safety conditions and install stand-alone fire detectors, which could help mitigate potential fire hazards in their homes.
